@media Conference

2:26p.m., Thu 14 Jun 2007

I was attending European @media conference this time last week.

I enjoyed it - no big bangs but I still managed to pick up lots of little hints, tricks & insights.

Joe Clark was live blogging from the conference and has notes from the sessions he attended: http://blog.fawny.org/category/events/media-london-2007/

And here's links to the preseantations that were most enjoyable and/or illuminating:

Dan Webb: "The Mysteries of Javascript-Fu"

Hakon Wium Lie

Tantek Celik: "Microformats, Building Blocks & You"

Jon Hicks - How to be a creative sponge

Dan Cederholm: "Interface Design Juggling"

and finally, at the risk of drowning this post in links, here's some stuff I found worthy of noting:

(a microformats-themed presentation called "Can Your Website Be Your API?")

(a test tool for web apps)

(a JS app that simulates a baic version of the Firebug console in non-FF browsers)
